Online game vendors to be hit hard
Currently in Vietnam, there is an ongoing crackdown on computer games. The country is attempting to crackdown on any computer games involving violence, gambling, and pornographic content, in an effort to create a game rating system. With officials restricting internet use in internet cafes, and banning all online game advertisements. Chinese game manufacturers hold 70% of the market of online gaming in Vietnam. The measures being taken by Vietnam officials are hurting the Chinese manufacturers. With some of the smaller manufacturers needing to leave the market due to the new restrictions.

Complex or Simple?
In one side, I support Vietnam to crackdown on computer games. Not all games are ban, just forbid the games which involving violence, gambling, and pornographic content. Maybe this policy can reduce crime, expecially benefit to the youth, so this is a simple ban.
In other side, this ban will make online game vendors to be hit hard. If the vendors supply the positive and healthy games, they will survive and get more profits, so no need to care more about the vendors who produce violence or gambling games. Maybe Vietnam want to protect their own vendors, OH, complex.
